STORE4U pioneered self storage in Liverpool, opening our main facility in Knowsley in 2002. Today, we are one of the largest self storage facilities in the North West with over 225 outdoor self storage units and our new indoor storage facility with 25 individual units!
We offer access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via secure gated access, and are one of the only storage facilities who offer no minimum term contracts and the option to only pay for the space you're using!

2 – Do I need to book in advance?

If you're unsure about an item, just give us a call, we’ll be happy to advise..6 – What is the process for renting a storage unit and moving my items in?
Studiowide2026-02-16T13:37:02+00:00After viewing our available containers and choosing the one you’d like to rent, you can go ahead with the booking.
To get started, we require:
- Payment for the current month
- A £50 refundable deposit (returned at the end of your hire)
- Completion of our hire form (including your name, address, telephone number and email address)
- A copy of photo ID (passport or driving licence)
Once the paperwork is complete, we register your mobile number for access through our security gate and provide you with the keys to your unit.
You’ll then have free access to your container and can move your belongings in at your convenience.
7 – What is the minimum stay?
Studiowide2026-02-16T13:32:54+00:00We require one month’s payment in advance, plus a refundable deposit when you start your hire. However, there is no long-term commitment. You can off-hire your unit at any time — even after just one day. If you leave before the end of the paid month, we will refund the unused portion of your rental period.8 – Do you have a customer toilet on site?
